Quality & Compliance
We operate as your compliance arm in India. Every shipment leaves with the lab data, traceability, and certification bundle that EU auditors expect.
Why Buyers Trust Us
Quality at Four Squares is built around controlled batch release, not just end-point paperwork. Before dispatch, each batch moves through defined sampling, laboratory verification, traceability checks, and shipment inspection so buyers receive product backed by documented controls.
Our QA Workflow
Supplier Approval
Only FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 processors with annual audits and SAQs aligned to IFS Broker requirements.
Batch Testing
ISO/IEC 17025 labs verify pesticides (EU 396/2005), heavy metals (EU 2023/915), and EtO/2-CE (<0.05 mg/kg) before release.
Documentation Pack
Specification sheet, lab reports, and traceability form issued prior to shipment for your internal review.
Controlled Batch Release
Every export lot passes through sampling, testing, traceability, and shipment checks before dispatch. The goal is simple: the batch approved for release is the batch identified, documented, and prepared for shipment.
Batch sampled
Representative samples are drawn from production and coded for control, supporting laboratory testing, internal QA review, and retained reference material where needed.
Lab verified
Release decisions are supported by accredited laboratory partners, with report references reviewed against the batch file before dispatch approval.
Traceability maintained
Finished batch codes stay linked to raw material lots, processing inputs, and test references so the approved lot remains identifiable through dispatch.
Pre-shipment checked
Before goods move, labels, pack details, shipment documents, and loading readiness are cross-checked against the approved batch record.
Independent Sampling, Verified Testing
Four Squares uses a documented sampling and testing process to support export release decisions. Representative samples are coded, controlled, and linked to the relevant batch record so procurement and QA teams can review results with clearer confidence in sample-to-shipment continuity.
Laboratory analysis is referenced back to the same batch through accredited partners, including ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL-linked testing support where applicable to the product and market requirement.
What our quality process is designed to protect
Batch representativeness
Samples are drawn from the production batch using a controlled process designed to support reliable testing and customer review.
Independent verification
Testing is carried out through accredited laboratory partners, with sample references and report links recorded against the batch.
Batch identity continuity
The batch approved for release is the batch identified, documented, and prepared for shipment.
Dispatch discipline
Labels, paperwork, packaging condition, and shipment readiness are checked before loading.
EtO & Solvent Controls
No EtO Sterilization
We use validated steam HTST and ozone-free treatments. No ethylene oxide exposure.
EU-Compliant Solvents
Solvents restricted to Directive 2009/32/EC options (food-grade ethanol or IPA) with residuals <20 ppm.
Independent Laboratory Partners
SMS Labs Services
ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited
Pesticides, heavy metals, EtO verification for every batch

Traceability That Stays With the Batch
Our traceability system is designed to connect finished lots with their key production and testing records, including raw material references, processing inputs, laboratory reports, and dispatch data.
This helps buyers move faster on verification requests and supports more disciplined issue investigation if questions arise later. Batch codes, lab references, and shipment records are structured to preserve continuity from approval through dispatch.
What buyers can expect
- ✓Batch-linked laboratory references
- ✓Structured lot traceability
- ✓Cross-checked shipment documentation
- ✓Label and pack verification before dispatch
- ✓Retained records for follow-up questions and audit requests
- ✓Escalation before shipment if records or product do not match
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before shipment release, Four Squares reviews product identification, label accuracy, packaging condition, and dispatch documentation against the approved batch record.
Shipment checks are documented, and any mismatch that could affect batch identity, compliance, or shipment accuracy is escalated before goods are cleared to move.
